Bounce is a company that takes privacy seriously. They pride themselves on your ability to wipe your data, any time, anywhere. You can scan your environment whether your privacy settings are open or closed. This allows you to ‘Bounce’ into the App at any time, tell it what you fancy, and see what is around you- instantly, with no digital footprint. 

Unlike other social media websites, Bounce is unconcerned with keeping you stuck to your phone. Rather, it encourages you to ‘Bounce’ to different restaurants, bars, shops etc. and to get off the app to experience things yourself.

Therefore, the app wanted to encapsulate two different ideas in the logo: security and movement.
